Technical drawings and other papers relating to Mather & Platt

A small collection of papers, including a draft tender for an unknown client relating to the installation of a Grinnell sprinkler system as well as

publicity leaflets for fire suppression systems issued from Mather & Platt's Park Works site in Manchester.

There are also two sets of blueprints based on drawings by Brian Soper while employed in the company's London Design Department. These are comprised of a set of five blueprints relating to a fire suppression system installed in Maples furniture store on Tottenham Court Road and a pair of blueprints relating to a fire suppression system installed at the Fire Service College in Dorking. In addition, there is a technical drawing for an extension to a hydrant service at Bowater Paper Corporation in Kent.
