Collection of industrial heritage material compiled by Industrial Archaeologist Owen Ashmore. Includes an extensive card index of the sites and buildings he visited, approximately 70 packets of photographs sorted by industry or area, a collection of colour slides and teaching aids that he used when lecturing, a small amount of correspondence and a number of proofs of his books, a box of historical OS maps, and miscellaneous off-prints, monographs and articles. Much of the collection consists of 'brought-in' prints which Owen sourced from businesses, collecting institutions, or that were given to him by colleagues.
