Flow of Metal During Forging

Paper, given before the Manchester Association of Engineers, a record is given of a number of experiments made in the course of investigations into the nature and conditions of the flow of metal when being forged in the hot state, and in particularly into the study of the relation that exists between the action of forging by pressure and by blows.
