The material includes examples of the Wythenshawe Newsletter (proofs and final print version) published by Ferranti Computer Systems for its workers, as well as product brochures from Ferranti International Industrial Systems, including Process Management Systems (PMS) for the oil and gas industry in the North Sea, NIMS and Argus Emulator systems. Many of the product brochures date from the period when Ferranti Computer Systems joined with Thomson-CSF UK to form Ferranti Thomson Sonar Systems (FTSS) in 1990, and from when Thomson-CSF UK bought Ferranti-Sysec (Ferranti Industrial Business Systems Division) in 1994.
