Silver halide photographic print showing a workshop at the D Antonelli and Sons' premises on Great Ancoats Street, Manchester. The image is of a man seated at a bench working on the piano mechanism, with a woman to the left moving the barrel piano body. The piano body bears a label referring to the award of a bronze medal to D Antonelli and Sons at the 1906 Milan International Exposition [L'Esposizione Internazionale del Sempione].

The paintings seen to the right of the image would have been displayed on the back of the barrel piano. The top painting shows a man in Bersaglieri uniform. The bottom painting shows a woman in traditional Italian costume dancing tarantella.
