Collection of Textile Sample Volumes and Photograph Albums

The collection consists of a textile sample book including both printed designs and plain fabrics (five copies). There are also five copies of an official company photographic album showing the Spruce Manufacturing Company's manufacturing premises at Peel Mill, Accrington. The album features black and white photographic prints including an aerial view of the mill, images of the weaving shed, winding and beaming room, taping room, cloth warehouse and engine house.
