The sub fonds mainly covers the 20th century. It includes records used to record the building, movement, repair and condemnation of stock including files covering experiments carried out on site (WOLV 4/9). The sub finds also includes minutes that describe production techniques and programmes (WOLV 4/11) A large part of the sub fonds relates to accounting and finance (WOLV 4/8) this contains records relating to piece work and pricing of different activities. This series also includes records that show how components were priced (WOLV
4/8/2) and records recording budgets (WOLV 4/8/3).
