Dear Mr Wheatley,
Will you kindly do me
the favor of sending me a
volume of the “Lancet”, contain-
ing a short Paper giving an
account of degrees conferred
on Women in America.
I think it is some six or
eight years ago. I don’t know
exactly how to designate it
but it was a letter showing
to what extravagances Women
had gone to [previous word may be crossed out], who had graduated
in America. I want it
particularly to refer to at
the Senate of the University
of London today.
