Letter from William Whewell to Professor Henslow

Whewell writes that he cannot now join Henslow in Weymouth as planned. He asks him to make tidal observations in that area and in particular to compare tides on opposite side of Portland Bill. The letter includes extensive news of Whewell's family, friends and travel plans and comments on the architecture of St Alban's Abbey.
