The pages bear holograph details by D. Turner (fl 1819) of a complicated mental calculation by Bidder dated 6 Aug 1819. There are anonymous ms. notes of 13 Oct 1830 about Bidder's current position with an engineer named Walker and the talents of other boys with a similar gift. The pages include George Bidder's autograph and two pencil portrait sketches of him. There are two newspaper clippings dated 1814 and 1820 quoting the Salisbury Journal and detailing Bidder's 'arithmetical calculations' and 'wonderful power of computation'.
