Proposal by Richard Trevithick to Mr Robert Fox Junior for the use of an engine to bore, cleave and move limestone

The proposal describes a trial of boring limestone, with detailed results. It estimates the likely output of 'the engine at Hayle' when used for limestone cutting. Trevithick states in the postscript that he has sent to John Gould an estimate for an engine etc. 'for clearing mud from Falmouth Harbour'.
