Letter from William Buckland to C D Archibald

Buckland advises Archibald to deposit the fossils which he has collected in North America with the Geological Society of London on his return. He identifies a bone sketched previously by Archibald as the femur of an elephant or mastodon and discusses this case in relation to previous finds in North America.
