Sir
You will oblige me by informing me
who your bookseller is in this place, whether
the printers are to attend to his orders. I should
imagine that if you [illegible] to appoint some one
to receive such copies of the [illegible] as are likely
to be sold in Scotland, much [illegible]
would be saved. The printer tells me that
you have never mentioned the number of copies
you wished to be printed but that he has [illegible]
off the usual number 750. The advertisement
shall be sent to you soon & I shall do my part
to have the printing very soon finished.
[2 lines illegible]
