Blood donor certificates awarded to Mary Lester by the British Red Cross Society

The collection also includes 38 reports of transfusions given by Lester over the period 31 Dec 1936 - 13 Apr 1964. A letter dated 21 Sep 1960 notifies Lester of a bar awarded for 50 blood donations. There are two newspaper cuttings referring to Mrs Lester's donations.
