Asks Field to support the application of Sir F Collier to have Mr Baker of HMS Devastation appointed Chief Engineer on Her Majesty's Steam Yacht [Victoria and Albert] because of his experience with Maudslay's marine engines. Devastation's second engineer (Turner) is competent to take Baker's place and the Devastation's captain (Henry) would not object.
