For each sale the purchaser of each lot and the prices realised are entered, with the relevant printed cut-outs from the catalogues being mounted opposite.

Sales include 16 September 1834 at Conderton of livestock and farming implements; 24 September 1834 at Diglis Basin, Worcester of many sets of 'boat geering', 14 named canal boats, equipment and stores (the contents of each all fully detailed later in the book); 24 September 1834 at Tewkesbury of barge parts, cast-iron and wooden cranes etc; 29 September 1834 at Gloucester of equipment from Barge Basin Warehouse and Wharf, cast-iron cranes, the trow 'Enterprise', Severn barge 'Sally' and lightener 'Paul Pry'; and of 29 September 1834 again at Diglis Basin of 4 unnamed canal boats (which were among the 14 sold on 24 September).

Other sales are of personal belongings, household furniture etc.
