A notebook containing lecture notes taken by G P Fitzgerald, an Instrument Technician (Mechanical) from lectures given by D Westcott, Apprentice Training Supervisor at Hilger & Watts, Aberdeen Works, Highbury Grove, London. The apprenticeship was in conjunction with a release to the ONC mechanical engineering course at Hackney Technical College. The notes contain sections on lathes, drills, welding and files. It contains numerous pencil illustrations, and includes tipped-in xeroxed information sheets
