The survey notes and the historical notes are arranged by county. Bound photocopies of these are shelved in the SML Wroughton Library Store: STS Rare at F 621.548:93 SIMMONS.The title of the bound copies is: 'The Simmons collection of records relating to British windmills and watermills.' The archive also contains over 200 maps and 2000 photographs.
