The Science and Art Department subsidised teachers visiting the exhibition, offering prizes to induce them to furnish 'any report or useful suggestions, in respect to duties or teaching, derived from the study of the Exhibition'.
Many of these 60 reports are from newspapers, cut out and stuck into a 'scrapbook' bound in 1968. A few are manuscripts.
