Engineering sketchbook compiled by engineer William Reynolds

The 'sketchbook' comprises 130 loose items. Most date from the 1790s, others from the early 1800s. The items cover designs of steam engines; manufacture of iron; methods of winding coal; excavating plant for canals; bridges and viaducts. REY also includes two archive boxes of photographic copies of the sketchbook drawings.
