Booklet entitled: "Les Notes de Marcelin Berthelot (1827-1907) sur ses Travaux et ses Recherches a Noisiel de 1860 a 1864"
Includes introduction by Gaston Menier whose grandfather founded the Menier factory. It originally manufactured powders and products for chemists et al., including chocolate to coat bitter-tasting drugs. At Noisiel it changed from pharmaceutical work to concentrate on chocolate, c.1860. Item bears ms. dedication by Menier to 'Sir Henry Wellcome pour son Musee a Londres'.
