First sheet (1p), ms. note from C. V. (Charles Vernon) Boys (1855-1944) to Mr. Hill (of the South Kensington Museum) re 'Cavendish experiment' apparatus and 'Radiomicrometer' . He has brought 'some relics of the origin of the Radio micrometer of quartz fibre & of the gravity apparatus which you may care to have to make the collection more complete'. Endorsed on verso with note by W.J. Hill to Mr. Wood. Second sheet with ms. notes (1p.) by Boys re 'Cavendish Apparatus' and 'Radiomicrometer'. With, also, ts. transcription of both. S. Wood was an assistant keeper at the Museum, Hill was a technical and special assistant.
