maker:
Jennings, George

Fowke, architect and engineer, had designed the South Kensington Museum which opened in 1857. Jennings asks if he will consider his request to install the 'sanitary fitments' in the building being erected at South Kensington for the International Exhibition of 1862 'at a price ...... as in the Exhibition of 1851'. The letter is written on a leaf which advertises various Jennings lavatories (i.e. wash basins).
