Collected by the Museum's space technology collection staff between ca.1960 and 2000. Comprises section A: titles originating entirely from NASA and its institutions; section B: titles originating from US industries; section C: miscellaneous. Section A subdivides, to include official NASA histories, particular types of NASA publications (some relating to a specific space programme, project or mission), et al. Some publications are complemented by holdings in the Science Museum Library. Also includes: five ‘Press Kits’ for spacecraft launches: Mariner 4 Mars, 1965; Mariner 5 Venus, 1967; Mariners 6&7 Mars, 1969; Mariners 8&9 Mars, 1971; Mariner 10 Venus, Mercury, 1973; a booklet relating to Mars 8&9; and 3 booklets and a printout article relating to Venus and Mercury 10.
