These NASA Conversion Tables were used by ITN Science Editor Frank Miles, who has annotated the copy, during ITN’s coverage of the Apollo missions, most likely those of the 1970s. They enabled rapid conversion of the default units of velocity used in spaceflight (feet per second) into a range of equivalent rates (e.g miles per hour) more familiar to the commentators and viewers of the space missions.
