Scottish Film & Television Archive Collection

The Scottish Film & Television Archive is comprised of film posters, stills and promotional materials organised by film dating from the 1960s-1980s.

There are a wide range of films represented by these materials. The films in the collection range from Disney films such as “Pete’s Dragon” (1977) and a special joint showing of “Sleeping Beauty” and “Treasure Island” to live action musicals like “The Sound of Music” (1965) to X-rated films such as “Love Play” and “Swedish Style”. There are also materials relating to Shakespeare films, including “Othello” (1965), literary adaptations such as “Under Milk Wood” (1972) and film of the Bolshoi and the Royal Ballets.

This collection also includes film posters by W. E. Berry Ltd which have been organised together into a separate box.
