This very small collection contains paper materials relating to the creation of a home-built television receiver by Norman Stokes (aged 14 at the time) in 1931. The collection includes a scrapbook of press cuttings and photographs, a poster, and letters from Selfridges, Baird Television Ltd and The Television Society to Norman Stokes about his receiver.
