In a letter I have
rece'd from Mr Bill, he [?]
you have not rece'd the letter
I wrote from Messrs Strong + Stills
to you, which fully accscie'd your
wishes as to they not calling
upon you for more Money for
supporting the Patent, tahn you
had pressed to Mr Bill & which
he mention'd to me - the ltter
[?] evry purpose as tho'
I has signed the deed - if you
have not rece'd it, some mistake
must have happened, & if you will
call at Messrs Strong + Stills, they
will show you the copy of it -
I have an objection to the
signing of deeds where a number
of parties are concerned if it can be avoided, (not
more to this than any other) &
especially where there appears no
kind of necessity for my signing.
From letters I have rece'd
from Mr Bill, who is now on a
journey, I am in hopes many
Engines will be ordeed & that we
shall be putin a train of getting
some [?] of monay for the great
trouble & expence, I have been at
in introducing the Engines which
are now beginning to be generally
understood - Our large Engine
goes on wonderfully well
& at any time it suits your
conveience to come into this
part of the world I shall be
happy to show it to you.
I remain
Gentn
Your most observt
Samuel Homfray
