A photograph of a model of an instrument at Jaipur Observatory entitled 'Ram Yantr[sic]' with a caption that states: '30638 Model of an old astronomical instrument in the Jeypore Observatory (scale 1:24). It is complementary to No 30637 and is used to ascertain the sun's azimuth and altitude. 1887. Lent by Surgeon-Major T.H. Hendley'.
