Lord Sidmouth presents his
compliments to Sir Joseph Banks,
and is sorry that he should have
had the trouble of rendering an
account of the Sum [?] expended in
Experiments connected with the Vibration [?]
of the Pendulum, which is quite
unnecessary until the Business
is brought to a close. Lord S.
lost [?] no time in applying to the

Treasury for a further [illegible] to be
made to Sir Joseph Banks on this
account, and has the Satisfaction
of learning that their Lordship’s
Warrant will be completed this day.
