No further communications of importance were reported from the Derwent Iron Co. and the Clarence Rway Co. Two additional copies of John Dixon’s Report relative to letting the Railway to maintain for a term of years were ordered to be made for the use of the directors.
It was also thought in fairness to the Engineer that a blank copy of the Estimate should be handed to him, requesting him to fill up with such prices as he would be willing to undertake the upholding of the railway according to his proposition. The subject was deferred untill next meeting.
