Cloth-bound ledger (form 1332A) from the W. W. EXTN No. 5 D.O., detailing tools manufactured numbered 251001 to 253000. The ledger records the individual tool number; tool description; drawing number where applicable; date issued; and any remarks. Some loose typed and handwritten lists have been inserted into the ledger; one is dated 15.6.76 however others appear older.
The ledger was produced specifically for Metropolitan-Vickers Electrical Co. Ltd on 18 July 1940, by S. Brighouse Ltd, Manufacturing Stationers, Manchester, Order No. E2401. The ledger has been marked '7' on the spine.
