Cloth-bound ledger (form 1332A) from the W. W. EXTN No. 5 D.O., detailing tools manufactured numbered 306001 to 310000. The ledger records the individual tool number; tool description; drawing number where applicable; date issued; and any remarks. A handwritten memo from Mr Tebay assigning the tool numbers to Mr Edmunds has been affixed to the first page. Some loose typed lists have also been inserted into the ledger.
The ledger was produced specifically for Metropolitan-Vickers Electrical Co. Ltd on 11 February 1943, by S. Brighouse Ltd, Manufacturing Stationers, Manchester, Order No. E7249. The ledger has been marked '9' on the spine.
