Sectioned nine litre reaction vessel, on wheeled trolley and with two sections of rail, by WRD Manning and SG Marshall at ICI (Alkali) Limited, Northwich, Cheshire, England, 1936-1938. This vessel was used to produce the first ton of polyethylene in December 1938.
