Brown glass, circle based, unribbed pharmacy bottle woth metal, lose fitting cap to contain approximately 1 gallon of tincture of opium (tinctura opii) or Laudanum. This bottle is broken at the top and is very fragile. Over time the liquid has evaporated leaving a powdered deposit on base. Large whole shoulder of bottle, covered with Selotape. For storage purposes within a pharmacy. Label on front of bottle with identification number '26'.
