R.B. Ede's portable laboratory, comrpised of a large mahogany box containing a removable drawer of chemical samples, glass and ceramic impliments, and a back row of glass bottles. 105 mm x 296 mm x 237 mm, 4.37kg. The back row of glass bottles with glass stoppers are mostly unlabeled, while the circular card boxes of chemical samples are well labeled. Materials included in these boxes include lead acetate, copper sulphate, antimony, arsenic, borax, red lead, sulphur, potassium chlorate, calmoel, cinnabar and bismuth. Made by R.B. Ede, English, 1840-1900.
