British Gas (London Research Station) Compact Gas Calorimeter. A prototype constinuous recording gas calorimeter in which flowing air is the heat absorbing medium and the heat from combustion of the gas is compared with a known quantity of electrical energy. Novel methods of gas volume measurement and of pressure compensation are used.
