


Hexagonal pewter hot water bottle with screw cap, cap has drop handle, sides covered with chasing and engraved animals and flowers, probably Austrian dated 1798
This hexagonal hot-water bottle is made of pewter and is engraved with a forest scene. The initials “MP” also appear on one panel. Once filled, the hot-water bottle would provided warmth and comfort for the user. The object is believed to have been produced in Austria.
