Description of Sikes' hydrometer and tables, extract from the Act of Parliament

Tables of Temperatures for Sikes’ Hydrometer (London, 1872). This was published by the firm of hydrometer makers, Dring and Fage, and was used to adjust the specific gravity from any temperature to that at the standard temperature of 57F.
