Containing black pilules, exhibited at World's Fair, St. Louis, USA, 1904, Chinese, 1901-1904. Label attributes the bottle as No. 446, Group 23, Class 125, Chi Yin Pa Chen Wan, Exhibitor Jung Kwan Kok, District Canton, Price $ per bottle. Translation of the Chinese Characters zhin yin (nourish yin), ba zhen ('eight treasures' refering to a combination of qi tonification and blood nourishment), and wan (pill or bolus) indicate Yin-nourishing Eight Treasures Pills, a medicine to treat a general deficiency in both qi (vital energy) and blood (yin).
