Cupping horn, metal, Indian, for extraction of poison by suction
Poison was extracted using suction to bring blood to the surface of the skin. This drew out any poisons. The cupping horn is made from a single sheet of metal rolled and soldered together. It originates from India. The device is quite worn so it appears to have been well used.
