Direct vision spectroscope, formerly in the possession of Sir William Ramsay, Comprising brass collimator and brass telescope with micrometer and vernier scale for adjustments. The central tube containing the prism, and stand are missing. A label accompanying the instrument and describing it as Ramsay's is in the hand of Professor M.W. Travers (who presented it to the donor)
