Analytical balance, semi-automatic, by Seyss of Vienna, c. 1880. Glazed wood and metal case, complex white metal beam, brass column, 3" wooden base incorporating an ivory release knob and false drawer fronts. Two spirit levels are fixed to the base at right angles in front of the column.
