Chemical balance, Model 2, with 12" brass beam and brass column, made by L.Oertling, London, in 1893, serial no.4951, capacity 50gm, with pans suspended from linked platinum chains, in a glazed mahogany case, with a separate hydrostatic pan and a set of Oertling weights ranging from 600grains to 0.01grn, higher weights are of brass and the lower ones of platinum, in box no. 9426.
