A defibrillator delivers an electric shock to a person's heart to restore a normal heart beat following a cardiac arrest. The two paddles are applied to the chest to deliver an electric charge which can be manually or automatically set. The ECG monitor was used to record a person's electrical activity in their heart.
This portable vesion was designed to be used by emergency services and first responders.
