Laboratory spigot constructed of brass, bronze and iron, with five (5) gas spouts (with taps, two (2) with key retaining screws (missing) and upper burner (with tap), the spouts radiating from a central ball cast with floral decoration, base for bench mounting (4 screw holes), 15-inches tall, French, c. 1870, from the Laboratory of Marcelin Berthelot (1827-1907)
