Glass female urinal, in the form of an erect penis and testicles, possibly 18th century

This is one of a pair of explicitly shaped female urinals and was designed to resemble an erect penis with testicles. Little is known about the origins of this particular example, but such portable urinals would have been owned by wealthy women at a time when few hygienic toilet facilities would have been available outside of the home. They were particularly useful on long coach journeys.
