Posters are one way to campaign for childhood vaccination. The colour photo shows a child being given an oral vaccine. The caption translates as “Immunise our children. A child who is vaccinated is protected against illness.” This poster was produced in Burkina Faso in association with UNICEF, (United Nations International Children's Fund). UNICEF aims to vaccinate all children against the six main childhood killer diseases: tuberculosis, whooping cough, tetanus, diphtheria, measles and polio.
