Token, copper, 29mm diameter. Cronebane halfpenny, 1789. (DH Wicklow 3). Associated Irish Mine Company, Ireland; Chas Roe, Macclesfield. Issuer Associated Irish Mine Co., 1789, ½d. Obverse Bust of St Patrick. Reverse Arms: 2 shovels, bugle-horn, 3 pickaxes. Crest: A windlass. Notes The Cronebane copper mine was one of the chief mines (about 6 miles from Wicklow).
