No 5 Yale Stereoscopic Pattern camera, c.1900. Plates carried in a metal carrier with changing box at back. The shutter is of the air pressure type with speeds 1/2sec to 1/100sec. Cocking rod used for time exposure. Fitted with a pair of Ross Doublet lenses 5" f.1.F.7.3. Focusing by rack and pinion. With brilliant waist-level viewfinder placed on the front panel. Wooden with black leather covering. Adams & Co c.1900
